Wellington’s BusinessSolutions 401(k) pricing is simple: You pay a one-time $500 + $20 per participant plan setup fee upon starting your 401k plan, plus the annual recordkeeping fee listed below. Our pricing is extremely competitive and completely transparent.
ONETIME PLAN SET-UP COST*:
- $500 PLUS $20 PER ACTIVE PLAN PARTICIPANT
ANNUAL PLAN RECORDKEEPING COST**:
- $1,050 PLUS $20 PER ACTIVE PLAN PARTICIPANT
*Plan set-up fee includes the preparation of IRS-approved plan document, customized website, the setup/registration of company master account & employee accounts with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. This fee is non-refundable in the event of plan cancellation. **Recordkeeping fees are billed semi-annually.
Invest On Your Own or Delegate to Professionals – The Three Investment Profiles***
The BusinessSolutions 401(k) offers three unique investment profiles. Each participant selects their own investment profile and may change profiles at any time.
1. Managed Model Portfolio:
Participant selects a managed model. As contributions are deposited in the participant’s Schwab account, Wellington invests funds for participant based on their model selection.
2. Customized Portfolio: Participant provides Wellington with fund choices and allocation percentages. As contributions are deposited in participant’s Schwab account, Wellington submits purchase orders for plan participant based on their desired allocations. This occurs each pay period.
3. Self-Directed Portfolio:
Contributions are deposited into the participant’s Schwab account. Participant logs on to Schwab’s website or calls Schwab to invest his or her funds.
*** Investment advisory fees paid to Wellington Consulting Services, Inc., are charged directly to the participant accounts on a quarterly basis, based on ending account balances.
